I think it is best to stick to one character per account and diminishing returns. That way you can start to become aware of players play style and learn from your mistakes in battle. It makes for a much better and longer mmo experience, more unique imo.
if i log out and come back after 20 min what will happen?
You will find yourself out of the dungeon, that's all I suggest you not to logout in a dungeon anyway - your character will not disappear immediately but will stay in game for 60 seconds, so you might get killed by creatures of other players.
Obviously your character in this game auto-retaliates to mobs that attack you, so you can park your character in a spot with really really weak mobs and earn some free XP overnight or whatever (I know, really shit but it's something for nothing right? :P), obviously skills are capped in the no-PK zones, and people can always either PK you or lure mobs to kill you. But I thought I'd ask anyway, is this legal? An official response would be cool, I mean the game mechanics allow it and the game works in such a way that it kinda polices its self.
Also, I just AFK trained in a spot in the beginner zones for about 20 minutes whilst getting ready to sleep. Came back to find a player luring mobs on me, didn't really care (can't loot in PvE zones, right) so I went to brush my teeth. I come back to see him standing on my corpse wearing my shit (nothing important, got multiple replacement stacks in bank)..? Tried to ask the guy how he looted a corpse in a beginner zone but he must be foreign, no response. Couldn't of been anymore than 5 minutes from the time he was killing me until he was wearing my crap. I'm not complaining about losing the gear I'm just wondering how he did it?
Just curious about the whole looting thing because when I tried to loot people in the noob zones it's told me I'm not allowed!
But yeah I'm loving this game, feel like I'm having an adventure again and I've had some hilarious PvP encounters today!
Macroing is allowed, but only to increase your skills. Scripts that make you loot monsters or anyway collect gold/silver are not allowed. That being said, if you do it in the wild you have a high chance to get yourself killed
This is an hardcore server, so you have to be creative in protecting your crops: walls, locked doors, use the artifact Reveal Wand from Jorkrut (to be implemented this week), etc... But no hard option to protect them
Everything is Real-time and I have notices recalling anywhere puts you there instantly and loads instantly. However when in "town" some of the larger areas are a couple of seconds of "load time." With that said, some of the progressive dungeons are on a "based on amount killed' in a certain time frame.
As I read a little further into the games mentioned above:
*There are Buff/Debuff timers with a said amount of time they have effect on player/spawn. (which are fair)
*There are no "raid timers" unless otherwise specified as a world event specially created by a dev/admin.
*There are cooldown times/delays. However, there is equipment to be gained that increase Cast Speed, although none that reduce cooldown time/attack speed. - I do believe there is a MAX/Hit/per second. Which "attributes to weapons/staff's" are provided, I/e (Double Strike, Double Edge, Rapid Reload and so fourth.
There are Spawn Timers, Some are Convenient, some are not and need Two or more people to say, "pick a chest" without interference.
