I think they should scale melee range with some kind of 'movement factor' that would be calculated from average distance traveled (over some recent period of time) by your target and yourself - devs could calibrate that over average de-sync.
I can't really program so I don't know if that would be possible technically.
First thing I would do is trying to uninstall and re-install the game. If that doesn't work, please write an email to email@example.com with more details on the error messages and the specs of your PC.
I found a structure (possibly an unfinished house?) in one of the non-safe zones right outside the starter town with a staircase going to a second floor room. Going up the stairs is fine, but when I tried to go back down to leave my character just stops moving down halfway down the stairs. I can go backwards up the stairs fine but I am effectively trapped on the second floor until I found the unstick button. Here is a picture from the first floor of the house and the stairs are right in front http://oi61.tinypic.com/2iaxzeb.jpg
apologies if there is a special way to go down a staircase in this game I have only started today.
Hi Pugo, you are doing nothing wrong, it's the owner of the house who did a design error somehow. The unstuck button is indeed there for such cases
