Beta Update - Patch 1 (09-08-15)



  • Hi all,

    welcome to the first patch log of the Linkrealms Summer Beta! Below you can find a short recap of the additions to the game, the feature changes and the bug fixes implemented today right before the gates of Linkrealms have been opened to a new wave of testers.

    Feel free to give us your feedback about the content of this patch and let us know what you would like to see in the next!

    ADDITIONS

    1 - New NPC Quest Giver added to Riverbank: Daven Longbow, The Hunter. Located in his little house right after one of the bridges of Riverbank, Daven guides new players in exploring the world outside of the safe starting area by giving them hunting missions and thanks helpers with unique rewards!

    2 - New quests for newcomers added to all Quest Givers in Riverbank.

    3 - New NPC added to Riverbank: the Juice Seller, who provides new players with low-level heals for accessible prices.

    4 - First iteration of the new Generic AI system deployed to a few Undead creatures.

    5 - Craftable Artifacts are back! Look for Jorkrut the Craftsbuck next to the entrance of the Hades dungeon to find out more about the powerful items he can create for you!

    6 - The Lizzogoth Chest event is back! Discover the first specimens of this new race that will play a central role in the future world expansions!

    7 - Number of minor random events on the map increased.


    CHANGES

    1 - Prospecting skill gain slowed down (~2 times slower).

    2 - Lockpicking skill gain speed up (~2 times faster).

    3 - Pumpkins and watermelons now grow a lot faster in the public Riverbank fields for new players.

    4 - It takes now longer for new characters to lose the "new player" status.

    5 - Guilds now cost 10.000 argents to be created instead of 50.000, and guild charters from the store cost 25 credits instead of 50.


    BUG FIXES

    1 - Fixed Mount Viscous entrance realm and Brood Haven entrance realm where PvP was not allowed.

    2 - Spirit Vampire and Darkling Archer are working again.

    3 - It's no longer possible to gain skill points above level 40 in the Graveyard of Ravenfeast.

    4 - It's now possible to use Bless Scrolls in Ravenfeast.

    5 - Fixed an issue that would make some players unable to see Haunting Spirits and Killer Wasps.

    6 - Fixed mobs with malfunctioning / unbalanced AI: Lava Lizard, Harpy, Griffon, Cricket Lord, Exalted Minotaur, Exalted Harpy, Exalted Griffon, Exalted Lava Lizard, Exalted Darkling Archer, Wood Louse Spider, Skeletal Darkling.



  • Did you also buff the hell out of the damage of Griffens? Don't stand a chance now. :P
    Also you can still gain skill in Ravenfeast.

    EDIT: Entrance before PvP dungeon is still a PvE area.

    I added a new point to the list about mobs whose AI we fixed in the patch - that includes Griffons, yes :)

    Skill gains in Ravenfeast should be gone now.
