I clearly need to find something better to do with my time.
I do agree Anyway, the reason of these unusual visits are indeed bots. The website, forums and wiki (in general, the whole Linkrealms domain) have been under constant bot "attention" for years. I have no clue why, perhaps they do visits hoping to generate click backs to their spammy pages when we go through analytics.
We definitely won't be adding "40 tiles" to aggro range. We might increase it a little to be consistent with the new zoom level at most.
i would think that twice, since Holya never talks without an intention, currently the agro range is only good for cleaning the mobs out to a realm exit and selecting the bosses or special mobs to kill on other side, i dont know if that is the game designers choise, but its what the players doing with the new agro range
Mino-shield being irrelevant to a mage's damage would leave them in a position to maybe kill people if they screw up badly enough, but requiring stacking oozes to do significant damage still leaves damage a lot more avoidable than before. It was already very avoidable.
I still believe warriors would be overpowered, but that change would be big enough for me to be sortaokay with balancing. Thanks @Prometheus
However, I'm very strongly of the opinion PVP should be disabled if your update isn't coming within a reasonably short period. I'm assuming it "doing the job" from your perspective is a thematic statement, but in practice, nothing about it feels stealthy.
Everybody knows I'm there. I can even still talk in global. They just won't attack until there's a critical mass of others willing to attack, or rush in then exit combat when they're about to die.
Linkrealms is a risk management game in terms of its PVP, and I strongly feel in any instance allowing one to attack another with literally no risk is poopy butt babies. The current system fails thematically and mechanically goes against the spirit of a PVP sandbox.
