I lost about 11k argents.
Try the free version of Mortal Online - it's harsh but kind of cool for a while.
As a free player, you have 600 skill points IIRC, else wise the double. First person only, full loot pvp everywhere, the combat system is like chivalry/mounts and blades. Magic is there to support, not the master of all. When I left, it was pokemon online; taming is taking a huge part of the game.
Not very populated, but I had a blast in this game! Sinking by weiring a full plate armor is a thing you learn fast...
I tried it, I can resume the click fest for you...
a) run in circle to find resource nodes that are not emptied by other players
b) if there is 10 resource units in it (lucky), click 8 times to gather them (last collection is 3 units, do not ask why) - click, progress bar, click, progress bar...
c) go in town with your resources, transform them to a usable item (wood -> planks, and so on). MEGA progress bar, go get a coffee or something
c.i) if you are on a higher tier, do that 2-3 times...
d) create a gazillion of leather chest armor to be able to craft the next tier
e) go salvage each of those gazillion item, one by one, drag and drop from one side of the screen to the other... I had to stop because my wrist was hurting...
Rinse and repeat.
PVP is based on the zone. Green = no pvp, yellow = kind of no pvp, red = pvp, black = pvp again. It's kind of buggus for me, I do not like the concept you have to flag yourself as pvp'er in the yellow zone to fight other people who also flagged their character... No lonewolves around, just major zerg fest there.
The UI is made for tablets, so expect huge buttons in your screen blocking your view.
Basically, since Linkrealms is down at the moment, we are fucked.
Sorry for the delay. Well, I don't know why you do not find your Settings.ini, maybe it is created when the game launch successfully for the first time - I can't tell.
I have limited resources, since I am not a developer on this project. Maybe you could try to update your device drivers and DirectX. Moreover, you might have a tool from your ATI card to set an application to use the ATI card or the embedded one. Try the embedded one. I have a laptop with a Nvidia and an Intel and I have to run the game using the Intel graphic card.
Try to change your c:/Program Files/Linkrealms/Settings.ini (check in c:/Program Files (x86)/Linkrealms too if you do not find it under Program Files.
Looks like your connection to Linkrealms Forum was lost, please wait while we try to reconnect.
